He's deep in agentic tooling and iterative AI workflows, with formal prompt-engineering training behind a habit of writing constraints down and validating outputs rather than improvising once in a sandbox. Runs the Tokyo side of the studio and picks up when you call.

Scott ships full-stack web apps and the APIs and infrastructure underneath — Shopify and CMS-driven commerce, complex financial ledgers, and blockchain-native tools where the numbers have to reconcile exactly. Long-time open-source contributor and a developer-conference speaker around the world. Writes the boring code that doesn't break.

DEV BROS started the way good studios usually do — two people who'd worked together long enough to know how each other thinks. Tom was shipping full-stack web and mobile work from Tokyo; Scott was building the kind of backend systems most agencies quietly outsource. After enough projects where we kept finishing each other's commits, we set up the studio and put one number on the door. Same people, same line, six months after launch.
